Call for applications for NIHR In-Practice Fellowships - 2017
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR NIHR IN-PRACTICE FELLOWSHIPS - 2017
Applications are invited for National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) In-Practice Fellowship Awards. The scheme funded by the NIHR Trainees Co-ordinating Centre (NIHR TCC) is part of the Intergrated Academic Training (IAT) programme set up to improve career pathways for researchers in both medicine and dentistry.
The NIHR In-Practice Fellowships form part of the IAT portfolio and are designed to provide support for fully qualified General Practitioners, General Dental Practitioners and Community Dentists who have outstanding potential for development as a researcher and/or educationalist.
The Fellowships will provide part-funding for the basic salary (50%) which will allow the practitioner to have protected time to develop academic skills and, where appropriate, complete a Master's degree. Funding for each NIHR In-Practice Fellowship is available for a maximum of two years.
Full details of the NIHR In-Practice Fellowship funding opportunities, eligibility criteria and application process are available from the NIHR TCC website, which you can visit by clicking apply below.
