This is an 8 GP practice based in the greater eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It is a well established teaching practice with a very low turnover of staff. It is a happy, collegial working environment. The building has been recently extended and can now accommodate another 1-2 GPs. The practice is currently turning patients away so there is an available patient base to walk in to.

  • 60% of billings
  • Minimum hourly guarantee initially
  • No tie contact
  • Flexible hours; one evening until 8pm and share in Sat am only

You will work alongside a strong team of GPs with allied health and 4 highly skilled nursing staff. They have a great patient base of primarily families and fit and well elderly population.

The Location

The practice is in a semi-rural suburb of Melbourne. It is 50km from the city centre or just over an hours’ drive from the city centre.

Whilst a reasonable commute you could live in Melbourne city or for less of a drive in the morning, the eastern suburbs of Melbourne offer the best schools in Melbourne and great housing options. Emerald and the surrounding suburbs are beautiful, tranquil places to live where you can enjoy the outdoors, forest walks, cycling trails alongside cafes and restaurants. If you want to head to the beach at the weekend, it’s only a 30 minute drive!
