An exciting opportunity for a GP to be part of an outstanding, progressive and innovative work environment.

  • Modern, purpose-built clinic
  • Gold Coast location
  • Mixed-billing
  • Up to 70% billings paid

The practice is privately owned (non-corporate), the owner already operating 2 successful clinics in the area.

The practice can accommodate 6 GPs in total, it has a 3-bed treatment room together with a separate nurse consultant room and the Skin Clinic has 2 consulting / check rooms, separated by their own surgical treatment room.

Queensland Health have plans to build a new hospital in the area soon and areas of needs have been identified as ante-natal, paediatrics, mental health and aged care. The practice will shortly be adding AHPs and there are rooms upstairs available for visiting medical specialists. There is on-site pathology and a pharmacy close-by.

The practice is mixed billing and this is discretionary for the doctors to decide. It’s expected that the mix of billings will be 70% private and 30% bulk.

Doctors see between 4–6 patients per hour.

  • 65–70% billings
  • Minimum hourly guarantee for settling in period
  • 2-year contract minimum
  • Income up to AU$500,000

To be considered for this position you must have FRACGP / MRCGP / MICGP or equivalent.
