We are looking for three general practitioners to provide advice and support to the General Practice Forward View / Transforming Primary Care programme in London. This programme is part of the Healthy London Partnership, which consists of 14 programmes delivering change in London on behalf of London's 32 CCGs and NHS England (London) aiming to deliver better health in London.

These roles are to support the delivery of the key ambitions of the General Practice Forward View, namely:

  • Access improvement
  • Workforce and Workload
  • Provider Development and Resilience


Each clinical lead will have a key role in influencing the strategic direction of these workstreams. In these leadership roles, credibility with peers will be essential. The post holders will preferably be practising GPs with experience in leading change, excellent interpersonal skills and passion about improvement.

They will work closely with the Programme’s Director, the Programme SROs and the GPFV Oversight Group which will be made up of key stakeholders from across the capital; as well as the Clinical Cabinet (Led by Dr Marc Rowland) and the Regional Medical Directorate. They will also give advice and support to the whole programme team to agree a challenging work programme which will enable real and sustainable improvements. The post-holders will be responsible for delivering high quality outputs against milestones within this.
